Linda Stancill Obituary
The funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at 3 PM at Timothy Christian Church. A visitation will be held prior from 2 - 3 PM. Burial will follow in Pinewood Memorial Park.
Mrs. Stancill, daughter of the late Bonnie and Mary Lee Edwards, was a native and lifelong resident of Pitt County. She was engaged in farming along with her husband for many years.
She graduated top of her class from Lenoir Community College with a degree in Horticulture. She worked at Tryon Palace as Greenhouse Manager and Flower Designer. She was a member of Timothy Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alton R. Stancill and a daughter, Lisa S. Rouse.
She is survived by her daughter, Teresa L. Stancill; sons, Timothy Stancill and wife, Tammy, and Michael Stancill and wife, Jennifer all of Ayden; 11 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Timothy Christian Church, 9657 County Home Road, Ayden, NC 28513.
