Lois M. Jarman

GRIFTON - Mrs. Lois Morris Jarman, 87, died Friday, July 28, 2006 at Pitt County Memorial Hospital. Service was held Sunday at 7:30 p.m. at Farmer Funeral Home, Ayden, officiated by the Rev. James R. Owens and the Rev. Jack Weathersby. Burial was in Evergreen Memorial Estates, Monday at 3 p.m. She was a Greene County resident and a member of Saints Delight Free Will Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her son, Dennis Jarman; and her daughter, Phylis Ross. She is survived by her husband, W.D. Jarman of Ayden; son, Wayne Morris and wife, Grace, of Grifton; two daughters, Linda J. Smith and husband, Danny, of La Grange, and Patricia J. Nichols and husband, Scott, of Farmville; son-in-law, Mickey Ross of Greenville; brother, Earl Morris and wife, Shirley, of Washington, N.C.; four sisters, Mary Ida Morgan of Ayden, Lela M. Avery and Sybil Ellis, both of Farmville, and Nancy M. Sutton of Ayden; grandchildren, Gary Morris, David Morris, Mike Dail, Lisa Butts, Renea Johnson, Rhonda Congleton, Crystal McKeel, Jimmie Rouse, Bryan Rouse, Sarah Ross, Amber Nichols; great-grandchildren, Joey, Justin, Brandy, Amber, Andrew, Ethan, Brandon, Jennifer, Abigail, Hunter, Zachery, Mason, Matthew, Austin, Madison, Alyssa and Alexis. The family received friends Sunday night from 6 until 7:30 at Farmer Funeral Home.
