Melanie Locklear

WASHINGTON, N.C. - Melanie Conner Pollard Locklear, 45, passed away at her home in Washington, N.C. on Saturday, January 28, 2006. A graveside service will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Locklear Family Cemetery at the home. Mrs. Locklear, a native of West Hollywood, Fla., had been a resident of Pitt and Beaufort Counties for the past 30 years. She is survived by her husband, Henry Locklear; mother and father, Marvin and Sandra Conner of Stokes; sisters, Carrie Davis and husband, R. J., of Ayden, Debbie Lotzin and husband, Ricardo, of Stokes and Cathy Ramirez and husband, Gerardo, of Greenville; brothers, Terry Conner of Washington, N.C. and Jeff Conner and wife, Tammy, of Grimesland; mother and father-in-law, Sarah and Alford Locklear of Vanceboro; special friend, Randy Evans; and a number of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 at Wilkerson Funeral Home.
