Dear Jimmy, Frank, and Family,

I was so saddened to hear of your loss of Nancy. I did not realize that she had been sick other than the arthritis. I share in your sense of loss.

The last time I talked with Nancy she told me of the great joy that her family was to her. She particularly pointed out how much she enjoyed sharing time with her nieces and nephews at Pamlico. I know that all of you will miss her.

Nancy was my special distant "town" cousin as we were growning up. As a little girl I would be beneficary of her hand-me-down clothes that Aunt Christine would buy for her. Beautiful Peaches n' Cream dresses were passed on to me after Nancy would outgrown them. For a while I'd be the best dress little girl in Farm Life. I also loved having the chance to go to town and play with Nancy, once in a while. When we last talked, we reminisced about those good old times.

My sincerest condolenses to all of you in this time of loss. I will always have a soft spot in my heart for Nancy and her beautiful hand-me-downs. Nancy was a very special part of my childhood.

Sincerely,
Mamie Estelle Coltrain Alexander

TO: NANCY'S FAMILY,

I FEEL LIKE I KNOW EACH OF YOU. SINCE 1972, I HAVE HEARD NANCY SPEAK OF YOU. HOW PROUD SHE WAS OF HER FAMILY!! MEMORIES ARE THE LEGACY OF LOVE. MAY THE MEMORIES OF NANCY SUSTAIN YOU DURING THIS TIME.

I WAS A MEMBER OF THE FIRST RADIOLOGY CLASS OF LMH(1972-1974). NANCY AND ESTHER TAUGHT US SO MUCH ABOUT RADIOLOGY, BUT MORE THAN THAT, THEY TAUGHT US THE TRUE MEANING OF FRIENDSHIP. THERE WILL ALWAYS BE A SPECIAL PLACE IN MY HEART FOR NANCY. THANK YOU FOR SHARING HER WITH US IN KINSTON AND LENOIR COUNTY. MAY GOD BLESS YOU.
