Nina Albright Obituary
Funeral Services for Nina M. Albright, 83, of West Monroe, will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, March 11, 2011, at Covenant Presbyterian Church, Milton Street, Monroe, with Rev. John Mabray officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe.
Mrs. Albright passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2011, at Glenwood Regional Medical Center, West Monroe.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George N. Maddux, Sr., and Julia Stewart Maddux; sister, Betty Frances Maddux; brothers, Jack Maddux and George N. Maddux, Jr.
Nina is survived by her husband of 60 years, Charles Albright, and children, Julie Greene and husband Greg, Jeff Albright and wife Margo, and John Albright and wife Debbie; 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Nina was a charter member of Covenant Presbyterian Church, where she was a faithful member of the choir for 57 years. She was also a member of Cultura Book Club in West Monroe, and enjoyed gardening, dancing, reading, and spending time with and cooking for her big family. Nina was a gracious and kind, caring and loving person, whom God blessed with a true, servant spirit. She loved to do for people, always putting the needs of others before her own. Everyone whose lives she touched through the years will have memories of Nina to cherish and inspire them. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Jeffrey Albright, Charles E. Albright, Daniel Greene, Nicholas Richardson, Timothy Keslar, and Charles Trichel.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Thursday, March 10, 2011 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
In remembrance of Nina, the family requests that memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
