Pat was one of the sweetest, most caring ladies I've ever known. I'll always remember that she would pick green tomatoes every time I visited my mom, so that I could take them home to ripen, since they just don't taste the same in California. She always checked in on my mom and wouldn't hesitate to help her plant flowers or do whatever little task was necessary to help a friend. My deepest condolences go out to her family. We will all miss her dearly.

Pat Tew was not only a classmate at Elise High School but a dear friend. I am saddened to learn of her passing. My family and I were closely associated with hers while in Robbins. We are honored to have known this family and treasure all the good times we shared with Mr. Bob and Mrs. Kizzie Tew and their children.

Pat was a warm and loving person. I'll never forget the couple of days I spent with her before she retired showing me the ropes in the departmrent. I could tell who was the boss, that I had BIG shoes to fill and that she would be missed and she was. I enjoyed her occassional calls to check up on me and to see how things were going. She will truly be missed. God bless you and your family.

Pat was so helpful to me when I joined the faculty in Home Economics in 1986. She was not in my department, but was such a team player helping others whenever possible. When my sons were born she was always very understanding and supportive. I have very fond thoughts when I think of Pat. She had such a great attitude and always had a smile. Pat was very special to all of us who had the pleasure of working with her at ECU.

She loved her family and I know that you will all miss her. I send my thoughts and prayers to all of you at this difficult time.
