Though we have been a thousand miles away for years, Patsy, Danny, Christie and Danielle have been close in our hearts. It was always a highlight of any trip home to visit with Patsy. Like "Aunt Mamie Lee" she always knew all the news and enjoyed sharing it with you. Her infectous smile always let you know you were loved - both family and friends. While we have mourned her passing today, we have also rejoiced at her triumphant entry into Heaven where pain and suffering are forever gone from her body. I told Duane that there was some talking going on in Heaven today as she is catching her mom and dad and Aunt Mamie Lee and Uncle Walter and all the other Pitt County/Eastern Pines kin up on all the news. Our thoughts and prayers are with you today and in the days ahead. She will always be with you. Just as nothing can separate us from the love of Christ, nothing can truly separate us from those we love.

Christie and Family,
I hate to hear about Ms. Patsy's passing. You all are in my thoughts and prayers. She was a wonderful person. I remember her laughter and love of life from the many conversations that I had with her when I use to visit Christie. We are thinking of you at this time. Let us know if there is anything we can do.

My deepest love and sympathy goes out to Danny and the family which Ms.Patsy loved with all of her heart. I loved Mrs. Patsy through my mother Mary Porter Jones who pasted away a year ago they were best friends. We will always remember her and love her. She has gone to a better place but she will still be missed. Love you all.

I have some very fond memories of my visits with Ms. Patsy. I will remember her as a devoted mother, one who put nothing and no one ahead of her daughters. I pray that I can one day be at least half the mother she was. God bless your family. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
