Ronald Warren Obituary

ROCKY MOUNT - Ronald Gene Warren, 71, passed away, Tuesday, March 1, 2011.  He was born November 30, 1939 in Pitt County, son of the late Hubert Warren and Frances Bullock Warren. He was a retired postmaster in Sharpsburg with 37 years of service, a member of Sharpsburg Baptist Church and an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed woodworking and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Mobley Warren; son, Ronald Todd Warren of Rocky Mount; sisters, Mae Milke of Md., Susie Alexander of Greenville, Madelin Ventre, Doris Genero and Betty Lou Bergman, all of Md.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, T. G. Warren and Clint Warren.
Graveside service will be held today, March 3, at 11:00 a.m. in Rocky Mount Memorial Park with the Rev. Todd Green officiating. The family received friends from 7-8:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 2, at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home.
