William Yoder Obituary

VANCEBORO - Mr. William Charles "Chuck" Yoder, 32, died Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2007 at Craven Regional Medical Center. The funeral service will be conducted Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in the Light House Mennonite Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Yoder, a native of Canton, Ohio, had lived in the Epworth community of Craven County for the past 17 years. He was employed with Food Lion in New Bern for a number of years and resided at the Christian Care Home in New Bern. He loved to tinker with mechanical things, had a fondness for animals and cared lovingly for his family. He is survived by his parents, Henry and Kathleen Yoder of Grifton; sisters, Linda Koehn and husband, Wendell, of Ulysses, Kan. and Jennifer Koehn and husband, Brandon, of Grifton; brothers, Richard Yoder of New Bern, Alan Yoder and wife, Michelle, of Grifton, Jon Yoder and Josh Yoder, both of Grifton; grandparents, Rosalie Unruh of Homeworth, Ohio, Stephen and Marie Yoder of Homeworth, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews The family will receive friends tonight from 7 - 9 at Wilkerson Funeral Home in Vanceboro and at other times will be at the home.
