Bruce was a kind and gentle and intelligent man, the very definition of the word gentleman. He left a beautiful legacy in his children, Joy and Brian. Bruce was a wonderful golfer and was able to pass on the love of the game to them both. He also passed on the wonderful quality of treating others with kindness and respect. I hope that he and Margot are together again, laughing and loving and looking down on their family. May the good memories of Bruce bring comfort to all of his friends and family. Hugs, Diane Steward

Bruce was a wonderful person to work with and a great friend to everyone at Mason Company. I was my great privilege to have known and worked with him.

Bruce was a wonderful employer and human being. I was already working at Mason when Bruce bought the company. We will all miss him, especially his saying "whatnot" that he picked up from the Navy. One fond memory was not long after he bought the company he was talking to Deon Fender and me asking about the Pickwick doors we sold as an accessory to our kennels. He asked us who owned the Pickwick company and I told him you do Bruce Mason company purchased them a few years ago. Condolences to his family.

Joy, you probably do not remember me. I was a caregiver for Bruce for a short time when Bruce and Margot were living in Mariemont. Bruce has to be one of the kindest, gentlest men who I have known. We had such fun together playing golf, visiting the Cincinnati Museum Center, Newport aquarium, Eden park. Who can forget how much Bruce loved Graeter's ice cream? I particularly enjoyed seeing Bruce's happiness when he landed a shot on the green on a par 3. He also really enjoyed watching the trains in the yards from the second floor of Union Terminal and watching the children play at the children's area. Bruce's kindness really touched my heart . I am sure that God has said to Bruce, "Well done, good and faithful servant". I am sure you have many, many, fond memories of your dad. I do. Thank you for sharing him with me, even if it was only for a short time.

When he and Howard were growing up, I was their neighbor and sitter and they gave me a few lessons on the organ! I was just 7 years older than Bruce. They were very nice and well behaved young ones. Odd, I used to raise dogs and used Mason dog crates, never knowing someone I had known was involved. They were the gold standard for dog breeders/owners. RIP Bruce, I have fond memories of you and Howard.

Dear Brian : I did not know your dad;I wish I did since he was such a nice person and an example for all. It is sad but it should give you some consolation for you that you were with him at the end;I couldnot have that with both of my parents. You will suffer like I did but please remember those good times you had with Bruce. I am praying for his soul,Horacio Falciglia

Bruce was a very empathetic and encouraging man that was a mentor of mine for 15+ years while he owned Mason Company. He worked hard and took care of his employees and I will always be grateful for the chance he took on a young man shortly out of college. He will truly be missed by all who knew him. Blessing go out to all his family!
