Clyde Whitlock Obituary
He was born Feb. 6, 1931, in Avery, Iowa, to Elmer and Bernice Whitlock.
The Whitlocks moved to Bokeelia in 1999 from Galesburg, Ill. Clyde was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the Navy from 1951 to 1955. He retired from Gale Products in 1986.
He was a member of First Christian Church in Galesburg and Pine Island Community Church.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Carol Whitlock; two children, Cindy (Joseph) Remillard of Parrish, Fla., and Greg Whitlock of Champaign, Ill.; and his beloved grandchildren, Travis Peterson of Galesburg, Ill., and Tara Peterson of Peoria, Ill.
Cremation was accorded. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at Cape Coral Hospital and Hope Hospice for their excellent care.
