Grace I. Watt

1919 - 2013

ROSEVILLE - Grace Irene Allaman Watt, 94, formerly of Roseville, passed away on Sept. 7, 2013, at Stillwater Medical Center in Stillwater, Okla. For the past five years, she resided with her daughter and son-in-law in Perry, Okla., and at the Sterling House in Stillwater, Okla.
Grace was born March 17, 1919, in Point Pleasant Township, to Harrison Blaine Allaman and Edna Hazel Caldwell Allaman.
She attended Youngstown schools and graduated from Good Hope High School. She married Kenneth L. Watt on June 18, 1938. They resided on their farm southeast of Youngstown where they farmed and raised three children. Grace had many hobbies, one being cooking, and was known in the community for her raisin pies. She accompanied her husband on the piano while he played his accordion and harmonica at church events and nursing homes. She was a member of the Youngstown Christian Church, Roseville Christian Church and a lifetime member of MBC.
She is survived by her daughter, Ruth Pinney Knori, Perry, Okla.; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
She was predeceased by her parents, Harrison in 1941 and Edna Hazel in 1964; and also two sisters and three brothers. Her husband predeceased her in 1989; her son, Don, in 1969; son, Kennneth L. Jr., in 1995; grandson, Martin Pinney, in 1979; and son-in-law, Don Pinney, in 1980.
Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 16, 2013, at Roseville Memorial Park Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Corman Memorial Funeral Home.
