ST. AUGUSTINE - Jennifer Marie Avalos, 36, rural St. Augustine, died Wednesday, May 1, 2013, near Abingdon.
She was born May 4, 1976, in Auburn, Calif., the daughter of Walter and Jami (Coggins) Miller. She was preceded in death by her father and her paternal grandparents.
Jennifer is survived by her companion, Terry Nunn Sr.; her mother and stepfather, Jami and Mike Housh of Quartzsite, Ariz.; her children, Kayla Alvalos of Abingdon, and Gulian Nunn, Isaiah Nunn, Caydence Nunn, Terry Nunn Jr., and Jayca Nunn, all at home; two grandchildren, Hope and Lexi; her maternal grandparents, Chester and Barbara Coggins of Lakeside, Ore.; her siblings, Brandi Kellerhals of Boise, Idaho, Bobbi Edson of Yakima, Wash., and April Rice of Galesburg; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was a homemaker and loved taking care of her children. She liked to ride ATVs, watch movies, take walks in the outdoors and talk to her mom on the phone.
Cremation will be accorded. Private services will be held. Hinchliff-Pearson-West Abingdon Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
