Sharon and family. So very sorry to hear of Johns passing. I knew John for a long time. Went to school with him and bought cars from him. Also remember seeing him at the casinos. John was a good guy and will always be missed. Sonny Rutledge

To the Sholl family: So sorry for your loss.
My family lived next door to John's family from birth til we moved when I was 8. I remember the apricot trees, the throwing of the fruit, of course, at each other and my sister and I playing with Seanie's dollhouse. Lost touch after that, but then we were in High School together, but never got reacquainted. Just wanted to tell you this tidbit. God bless you and hold on to the memories.

Many fond memories of a good friend. Another GREAT ONE taken from us too soon.

Phoebe and I bought many cars from John.
He was always a gentlemen's gentlemen.
Always smiling, and willing to help in any way he could. That goes for more then just cars.

RIP John. My thoughts and prayers are with all of his family.

I went to high school and junior high with John. We've stayed in contact over the years. He was one of the nicest and caring people I've ever met. When I would visit my family in Galesburg my brother Joe and I would try to visit John. My fondest memory of John is when my father passed away John was my only classmate that came to for the graveside service in the freezing February weather. My condolences and prayers for his family.

John was a long time friend and a former co-worker who sold so many cars we lost track. He will be missed.
