Deborah Garrison Obituary

TORRINGTON - Deborah L. (Viarengo) Garrison, 52, of Chamberlain St., Torrington, died Friday, Feb. 18, 2011 at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital. She was the wife of David Garrison.
Deborah was born on July 16, 1958 in Torrington, daughter of the late Secondo and Edna (Volhardt) Viarengo. She was employed by Burger King as a Manager.
In addition to her husband David, she is survived by a son, Stephen Garrison of Torrington; a daughter Stephanie Garrison of Torrington; two step daughters, Tammie Zweier of Highland Lakes, N.J., Amy Garrison of Torrington; four brothers, Allen Viarengo and his wife Joan, John Viarengo and his wife Cindy, Ronald Viarengo, Brian Viarengo and his wife Cindy, all of Torrington; two sisters, Nancy Colon and her husband Mike of Torrington, Darlene Viarengo of Deltona, Fla.; four step grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Glen Viarengo and Robert Viarengo.
Relatives and friends may call on Thursday evening, Feb. 24, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington. Burial will be private in Hillside Cemetery at the convenience of the family.

I am really sorry for your loss and wish I could have been at the wake (I found out too late). I've known the Viarengo family since I was a kid (nearly 50 years ago!) and could never ask for better friends. I'm sure Debbie will be very deeply missed.
