Glenn P. Sirignano
Glenn P. Sirignano
Wolcott - Glenn P. Sirignano, 69, of Wolcott was tragically, and unexpectedly, taken from us on the afternoon of August 12, 2021. He was the loving husband of his high school sweetheart, Donna (Ferry) Sirignano for 48 years.
To cherish his memory, he leaves behind his sons: Jason and his wife Sarah Sirignano of Bristol and Dr. Erick Sirignano of Southington. The true joys of his life were his grandchildren, Chloe Sirignano and Anthony Sirignano, who absolutely adored every moment with their Grampy. Glenn was predeceased by his parents, Dorothy and James Sirignano, of Waterbury.
He will be remembered for his commitment to, and love for, his family and friends. A role model for all of us, he never missed a sports game, school event, or family function. Glenn was the epitome of an "old school" family man; consistent and reliable, giving the shirt off his back to anyone in need. Having a laugh and larger-than-life personality that was infectious, he could light up any room he was in. Glenn was a life-long lover and advocate for animals and animal rescue. He had deep love for his pets, past and present. In true Italian fashion, he took great pleasure in feeding anyone and anything whether it had two legs or four. The one regret that Glenn had in life was never finding a complete Junonia shell in his numerous trips to Sanibel Island, FL with his family.
Here's to hoping that heaven is filled with Junonia shells as far as the eye can see.
A memorial service will be held in Glenn's honor at the Shrine of Lourdes in Litchfield, CT, on Saturday August, 28th 2021 at 5pm.
Please consider making a donation in Glenn's name to the Wolcott Dog Pound in lieu of flowers.
