REINHARDT, MARGUERITE P. (COFFEY) Winsted: Marguerite P. (Coffey) Reinhardt, 98, formerly of Pratt Street, passed away on Monday, February 9, 2015. Born in Winsted, February 21, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Anna (McGrane) Coffey and had lived in Winsted all of her life. She attended St. Anthony School and graduated from The Gilbert School in 1934. Prior to her retirement, she had worked for the Connecticut State Comptrollers Office, The Cooperative Education Services and the Surgical Association. She was a life long communicant of St. Joseph Church and belonged to the Catholic Women’s Club, Winsted Senior Citizens and AARP. She is survived by her daughter, Anne M. Reinhardt Peck and husband Lawrence and son Joshua; by grandson Christopher Reinhardt and granddaughter Kimberly Akerley and her sons, Gregory and Tyler; niece Maureen Benedict and husband Coerry and family. Marguerite was predeceased by her sisters, Mary Finnegan in 1992, Mildred Coffey in 2010, her husband Norman in 1993 and two sons, Gregory in 1988 and Joseph in 1992. Funeral services will be held in the spring. The family would like to thank the staff at Geer Nursing for all the care and support that Marguerite received while a resident there.
