Having left Winchester back in the year 2000, I just recently learned that Dick had died. It saddens me deeply to know the area is now bereft of this good man. I served on the planning and zoning commission with Dick, and we remained friends, but kept in touch only sporadically after I left the state. I found Dick to be a good and solid person with a calming demeanor and lots of just plain common sense and wisdom. The world is a poorer place without Dick Nalette. Doubtless his family and friends will miss him always.

Thinking of you, Michele, as you remember your father at this time. Praying that warm memories have replaced some of the sadness of your loss.

In September 1959 I got back to my room at UCONN and my roommate had moved in. There on his desk was a picture of Judy. Shhe looked familiar. I realized that she was a fellow graduate of Torrington High, class of '59. A little while later I met Dick for the first time.

We spent that school year as roommates until he left, just before eams in June. We then lost contAct until one of our THS reunions where we with our spouses, my spouse Shirley also a THS '59 grad, spent an evening catching up, our last contact.

We send you our condolences and best wishes. Like you, we have happy memories of a good person
