ROBERT "BREEZE" FISKE

1939 - 2015

FISKE, ROBERT “BREEZE” Robert “Breeze” Fiske, passed away on May 10, 2015 at his home. He was the loving husband of Jean (Passini) Fiske for 50 years. Born April 12, 1939 in Winsted; the son of the late Theodore and Garnet E. (Cook) Fiske. Bob was a lifelong resident of Winsted, before retiring in Barkhamsted. He was a member of the class of 1957 and served in the U.S. Air Force. He was employed at Hitchcock Chair for 43 years. He loved fishing and spending time with his family and grandchildren. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Ronda Lekang and husband David of Winsted and Shannon North and husband Glenn of Barkhamsted; grandchildren, Sarah Lekang, Benjamin, Brandon and Meghan North; best friend and brother-in-law, Tommy Passini; and a brother, Billy Fiske. He was predeceased by a brother, Theodore Fiske, Jr., and granddaughter, Ashley Lekang. Friends may call on Thursday, May 14, 2015 at Montano-Shea Funeral Home, 922 Main Street, Winsted from 5 – 8 PM. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 15, 2015 at the First Church of Winsted at 12PM. Burial will follow at Forest View Cemetery, Winsted with full Military Honors.
