My name was Alexander Pendergast. I found my eternal peace on Friday, May 25th, 2018. My thirty-three years on this Earth has been one incredible journey filled with both amazing triumphs and defining battles.
In this life I knew the joy of laughter. The warmth of a heartfelt hug. The inspiration of an encouraging word. But most of all I knew what it meant to love and be loved, Profound and unconditionally. From childhood friends to devoted family. A supporting brother, mother, and stepdad who were forever at my side...and on my side. My gratitude is boundless.
And to the world, I give my most precious gift-Ashland Grae whom I will watch from above as she grows into the beautiful and illuminating beacon of light I know she'll become.
And although no longer here in the flesh, know that I will always be with each of you. In a familiar song. A special place. A fond memory-to be remembered as a good man. A kind man. A gracious man. A man who wanted to make you proud.

Alex ... it has been years since I saw you last. My memories of you are from when we were young. I believe I was 13 or 14 years old when we met. You were so kind, such a gentle spirit .. I am saddened to hear of your passing.

I'll always hold a special place for you in my heart, Alex. Even though we haven't spoken in a while know that you are definitely loved. I'll always remember your laugh and your smile and your beautiful eyes. We shared some good times and some struggles, all making us stronger and brighter. We shall miss you my friend, carry on with love.

I met you though a good friend, who was friends with you since grade school. I was homeless, but not jobless and looking for a good dude, who would make a solid roommate. We hit it off right away chatting about our shared values of work-ethic, family, and doing the right thing. I knew we were on the same page after our first visit. Unfortunately, there were problems with the property management company and it didn't work out. But, I appreciated how we clicked quick and ur bright spirit wanting to help me out. I knew u would've been a solid roommate because of your commitment to your Daughter and your passion for a career in aerospace. May you find peace, may your family find peace, and I'm fortunate and grateful to have had our limited times together.
