I had so much fun working with Arthur. I remember giving him the title of Superintendent for the afternoon when Nancy was out of the office. He was so tickled. He put his feet up on the desk, and told me I could go home. Lol. He would often walk by my desk and whisper " Hi" because we talked to much and we were always getting in trouble. He often joked that he couldn't believe that at his age he was being put in time out. In the corner office . We had to be separated!! I will always cherish the many memories I had the honor of experiencing with Arthur. I love you me dear friend.

We met him in the late 90's. What a wonderful, wonderful person. Such a legacy.

I remember enjoying Arthur's enthusiasm at various events around town - usually accompanied by his gracious daughter, Nancy. My sympathies to the family in their loss but also my hopes for comfort in your many happy memories. Onward

Grandpa Art, as he was known to many former softball players in Eugene, was a great man. I have such fond memories of him from my adolescent years. He attended hundreds of games, always with that famous grin. The world was so very blessed by him and he will be missed.

Arthur and I shared friendship and Hult Center events over the years. Walking to the concert hall, he always looked forward to giving money to those who asked along the way. I remember his favorite performance was a magic show. Arthur usually wore a hat; all the better for pulling out metaphorical rabbits, entertaining us, and making us laugh. He will be missed by the many who were fortunate enough to have known him. Rest in peace, Arthur. Thanks for the magic.
