Edith Thomas Obituary
Edith Olive Whitaker Thomas, aka Grandma Dolls, left us peacefully in her sleep on 3/21/16 at the age of 102. She married once to Richard M. Thomas. Her son John preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughter Beverly, sons Stanley and Jesse, as well as nine grand children and many great- and great-great-grandchildren. Born July 2nd 1913, in a tent, in a little town called Donna, Oregon, she was an old fashioned housewife and homemaker. Her great passions in life include tending her garden, restoring discarded baby dolls and donating them to underprivileged children, and caring for grandchildren. A viewing will be held at Lane Memorial Gardens on March 28th at 11am-1pm and a graveside service at 2pm. Rest in Peace, Mother.

My sincere condolences to the Thomas Family. Edith was so fortunate to have her loving family near by for so many years. I will always remember her kindness and sweet smile. Such a treasure...she will be missed.

Edith was a wonderful lady with a heart of gold and I was lucky to have known her. She always had a smile on her face and there to help those in need. I will always remember her. Condolences to her family. She will be missed.
