Harold Haynes Obituary
Mr. Haynes was born February 28, 1917 in Sherwood, Oregon to Charles and Inez (Dey) Haynes and passed away May 2, 2007 at his home in Rockaway Beach, Oregon at the age of 90.
During WWII he worked for Lockheed Corporation in California, later for Fullerbrush, then in magazine sales and then started Scotty's Radio and TV Shop in Springfield, Oregon which he ran for 40 years. Retired in 1981 and moved to Garibaldi in 1984 and then to Rockaway Beach.
Mr. Haynes enjoyed fishing and hunting with his friends. One of his favorite life experiences was when he took a cruise ship through the British Isles and the Virgin Islands in 2004.
Mr. Haynes is survived by his wife Shirley of Rockaway Beach, OR.
1 Daughter, Carol Casey Bischke and her husband Dennis of Gresham, OR.
1 Daughter-in-law Joy Haynes. 6 Grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Mr. Haynes is preceded in death by his first wife Edith, and 2 sons Charles and Raymond Haynes.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Tillamook Hospice Program at 1015 3rd St. Tillamook, OR 97141.
A private family inurnment will be held at Bay City IOOF Cemetery.

My favorite memories of Uncle Scott go back to the 1950's when he had a boat and took us to Fern Ridge Lake for picnics and fishing or to his cabin at Florence. He loved all kids; and he gave me an accordion (that he took in trade on a TV at his Springfield store) so I could take lessons; and he showed pride in my progress. His sons and daughter were like sisters and brothers to me and my brothers. I will always remember him fondly.
