Fond remembrances that enhance God´s gift of life...that are not "hokey" to those who keep the faith.

I saw the obituary on Jack, but somehow overlooked the ability to sign his guest book (I had been mulling about calling, but demurred because I just knew Jack and his mother). I hadn't thought about Jack for a long time...and had lived in CA for over 35 years before moving back to Oregon almost 11 years ago. If I had known that he was around, I would have made every effort to visit him. Before I went into the Marine Corps (with my twin brother Art and Gordon Seiple), I had lived with Jack and his mother for a while. Wow, they were great to me...and, when I saw the obituary, the fond memories of them flooded my thoughts! I am truly sorry Jack has passed on; remembering him, I have an inkling that he leaves wonderful family and friends...and will pray for your comfort (surely!).
