John Michael Kehoe, 36, passed away on March 16th in Denver, Colorado after an unexpected and courageous battle with Lymphoblastic Lymphoma. He fought this battle as he had many others - with courage, will and the heart of a lion. John was born to Michael Kehoe and Kathleen Fox-Cross on December 22, 1977 in Leadville, Colorado. His Grandfather, Dr. John Michael Kehoe, delivered John and he entered this world just as he left it, surrounded by family and friends.

John graduated from Churchill High School (Eugene, Oregon) in 1996. He then moved to Leadville, Colorado where he discovered his passion for ranching and carpentry. He herded cattle and trained horses over thousands of acres in Colorado and Wyoming. He married Christina Morris in 2002 and, although later divorced, they remained life-long friends.

In 2007, John and his partner, Amy Amen, had a daughter, Kaeden Kehoe. Kaeden was the apple of John's eye and the love of his life. His dedication, commitment and love for Kaeden never wavered. John, Amy and Kaeden moved to Greeley, Colorado where he worked in the oil business, most recently at Ensign Energy as a Tool Hand Specialist 1.

John had the life-long ability to light up every room he walked into. This extraordinary gift was present even during his most challenging hours. People were drawn to John by his handsome cowboy nature, ablity to dance like no other, his gentle sense of humor and sharp wit, his engaging smile and his kind eyes. But, it was John's true heart that made him the man we will always remember. When we lost John we lost an amazing father, son, brother, nephew, cousin, best friend, co-worker and patient. His spirit will forever inspire us.

John is survived in life by his daughter Kaeden Kehoe, father Michael Kehoe, step-mother Joyce Kehoe, mother Kathleen Fox-Cross, step-father Tom Cross, sister Alicia Beymer, brother in-law Aaron Beymer, sister Melissa Lewis and family, brother Matthew Fox, step-sister Tisha and Matthew Grover and family, step-brother Steve and Mendy Johnson and family, the Cavalli Family, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

A gravesite service will be held at at 11:00am on Friday March 21st, at St. Joesph's Catholic Cemetery in Leadville Colorado. A Celebration of Life for John is scheduled on Saturday March 22nd at 11:00a.m at St. Paul's Congregational Church, 1525 43rd Ave. Greeley, Colorado, 80634. A celebration in Oregon will be planned at a later date.
