Larry Massey Obituary

1949 - 2015

Larry K. Massey, 65, passed away on June 6th, 2015 of heart failure at River Bend Hospital. He was the husband of Connie Massey. They shared 44 wonderful years of marriage together. They had three amazing boys, and six grandchildren that brought so much joy to their lives. Larry was born in Cottage Grove, Oregon to the parents of Don & Elsie Massey.

He graduated from Creswell High School and served three years in the US military. He retired from Bonneville Power in 2007 and has spent the last years enjoying his family and friends.

Larry loved classic cars, hunting, fishing, building and most of all being home with his family and friends.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, June 12, at 3 P.M. at Rest Lawn Cemetery (94335 Territorial). We will have a celebration of Life reception starting at 5 P.M. on Friday at Brice and Diane Knutson's at 94334 Territorial Hwy, Junction City, OR.

In lieu of flowers please make a donation to a charity of your choice.

What a shock to hear that Larry had passed away. I worked with him for many years at BPA and he was certainly a good guy to to have on the crew. His old school knowledge of line work was always an asset and his brand of humor kept things fun in most any situation. When Revena and I decided to build a house he guided us thru the process start to finish. His love and support for his family was always evident in the stories we heard from day to day. I'm going to miss him a lot just knowing he's not there on his property, working to make it even more amazing. Thanks for all your help Larry!
