Patricia Ann (Pearce) Oliver was born on April 30, 1943 in Superior, Nebraska, to the late Wanda Golden (Walden) Wilson and the late Locius Alfred Pearce. She passed away peacefully in her sleep surrounded by her daughter Tina Hoffman and son-in-law Ken Hoffman on Friday, July 20 at 3:15am. She was supported in prayer by her daughter Michelle Starke and son-in-law Kendall Starke.

Pat lived in Superior until she graduated from high school. Pat was active in extra-curricular school clubs, student leadership, school newspaper, bowling and science. In 1961, Pat went to the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. In 1964, Pat became a long-distance operator for Lincoln Telephone and Telegraph, then began her accounting career. In 1973, Pat moved to Eugene, Oregon to be closer to her mother Wanda. Pat continued her accounting career, working for Chip and Saw, Stretch and Sew, Koke Printing, MDL and Euphoria Chocolate until her retirement in 2009. She was a single mother, a strong woman, and a smart mathematician who really took to computers - bringing a couple of businesses into the computer age.

Pat was a loyal and giving person. She volunteered in schools helping children practice reading, and she volunteered as a chaperone in warming shelters for homeless teens.

Pat is survived by her daughters, Michelle Starke (Kendall) and Tina Hoffman (Kenneth); brother, Michael Pearce (Ruth). She was a constant and loving presence for her grandchildren Samantha, Joey, Kendall, and Jasmyn, who were her highest priority.

We will miss her and know she is in a better place.
