The Haugland family will hold a Memorial for Richard (Dick) Haugland on April 9th, 2017 from 4:30 - 6:00 PM at the Hult Center, after the performance of the new ballet "The Snow Queen" that Dick had commissioned to the Eugene Ballet.

Condolences to Marina, Alex, Rosaria and families, and to all of the arts friends who will dearly miss Dick. Last weekend I met a young ballerina who has learned the choreography, but will not dance during the Hult performance. She said to please say "thank you" from her and her fellow dancers as well. We have a conflict and will not attend the memorial. I hope to visit soon.
