Dennis Filbrun Obituary
WEST ALEXANDRIA — Dennis A. Filbrun, 88, of West Alexandria, peacefully passed away in the presence of his family on Friday, Dec. 9, 2022, at Kettering Medical Center.
He was born Jan. 18, 1934, in Dayton, to the late H. Raymond and Mary Filbrun.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters Berniece Yost and Vanice Flora and infant grandson Keith Filbrun.
He is survived by his wife Doris Fisher Filbrun of West Alexandria; daughter Deanne (Thomas) Hollinger of Anderson, Indiana; son Dale (Evelyn) Filbrun of Eaton; son Doug (Pamela) Filbrun of West Alexandria; daughter Doreen (Larry) Landes of Lakeville; 24 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; brothers Marvin Filbrun of West Alexandria, Melvin Filbrun of Laura, and Glen (Karen) Filbrun of Lewisburg, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services Tuesday, Dec. 13, at the Upper Twin Old German Baptist Brethren Church, 3614 Halderman Road, West Alexandria, with burial following at Fairview Cemetery in West Alexandria. Visitation Monday, Dec. 12, at the church.
