EDWARDSVILLE - Dustin Travis Walker (Rhodes), 25, passed away on December 1, 2014, at Saint Louis University Hospital. He was born at Alton Memorial Hospital on November 8, 1989.
He is survived by his parents, Thomas and DeAnna Swain of Edwardsville. He was raised with sisters, Danyelle Walker and Carolee Swain. Older siblings include Jeremy Taylor (deceased 2004), Krystal Swain and Andy Swain. Grandparents are Larry and Beverly Widdows, of Alabama, Tom (deceased) and Betty Bruening of Missouri, and Leroy and Frona Walker of Illinois.
Dustin's Memorial Service will be held at 12 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 6, at Enjoy Church in Alton where he attended.
Dustin saved six lives by giving his heart, lungs, kidneys and liver.
He is best remembered for his big heart, love of animals, and the ability to make everyone lighten up and laugh. He will be greatly missed.
