EATON — Harold "Ed" Lambert, 79, of Eaton, passed away Saturday, Aug. 4, 2018.
He was born Aug. 7, 1938, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to the late Harold Perry and Mary Margaret Lambert. Ed was a U.S. Marine veteran; graduated from Georgetown Law School; practiced corporate law for many years; was a Preble County Mental Health and Recovery Board Member for eight years; and was an Adjunct Professor at Miami University in Oxford.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Linda A. Lambert of Eaton; daughter Jennifer (Fares) Taamneh of Covington, Kentucky; sons Timothy (Maria) Lambert of Sydney, Australia and Christopher Pulman Lambert of Houston, Texas; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; brothers Donald (Dorothy) Lambert of Indianapolis, Indiana and John (Maria) Lambert of Chicago, Illinois; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service and military honors will be held at 3 p.m., on Saturday, Aug. 11, at the Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, P.O. Box 5014, Hagerstown, MD 21741-5014.
