CAMDEN — Jimmy R. Lovins, 77, of Camden, passed away on Monday, Oct. 27, 2025, at the New Lebanon Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center.
He was born April 30, 1948, in Cincinnati, to the late John and Wanda (Jeffers) Lovins. Jimmy was a US Air Force veteran and served from 1967 to 1970, working his way up to Sergeant. He worked for several years at Portman Equipment Company as a mechanic until his retirement.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother John Lovins. He is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Stephanie (Day) Lovins; and sister Merle Lovins.
A visitation will be held on Friday, Nov. 14, from 1 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 2 p.m. at the Gard Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 226 W. Main Street, Eaton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his name may be made to Cherish Hospice, 1929 E. High Street, Springfield, OH 45505.
