EATON — Patricia L. Hickman, 74, passed away Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at Vancrest of Eaton Health Care Center. She was born Oct. 4, 1946 in Middletown to the late Robert and Inez Berry.
Patricia was an active member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary and Eagles Lodge, both in Eaton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Levern Hickman in 2004; brothers Jack Berry and Robert Berry; sister Beverly Robison; and great-grandson Jordan Riley Hall.
She is survived by her children: Duane (Anita) Smith of Eaton, Jennifer Ward of Eaton, Jill Hines of Camden, Alan (Melissa) Smith of West Alexandria, Greg (Jodi) Smith of Eaton, and Robin (Mike) Olterman of Camden; grandchildren: Brian (Tesha), Billy, Tosha (Tommy), Erica (Josh), Jessica, Tony (Johnna), Mindy (Rance), Matt (Kristen), Melissa (Edward Jay), Devin (Taylor), Tara (Brian), Trey, Chase, Nick, Brianna, Brayden, Cole, Kyle (Kristan), Lacey (John) and Montana (Jeremy); numerous great-grandchildren; sisters Sue Pieratt of Gratis and Paula (Mickey) Wise of Middletown; brother Rick (Chris) Berry of Middletown; numerous nieces and nephews; special friends Lavern Tompkins and Clyde Sparks of Eaton; and many other good friends.
Graveside service at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 24 at Preble Memory Gardens, West Alexandria, with Rev. Lowell Spencer officiating. Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, Eaton is assisting with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Hospice of Dayton or The Humane Society of Preble County.
