RICHARD LOEW Obituary

RICHARD LOEW 04/08/1937 - 12/23/2025 Richard "Dick" Loew, 88, of Lawrenceburg, Ind., passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on April 8, 1937, in Cincinnati, Ohio, the son of the late Richard and Clara (Schwartz) Loew. Dick proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Navy. He was a devoted member of Emanuel Lutheran Church. A lifelong fisherman and avid golfer, Dick also found great joy working in his yard and tending to his flower and vegetable gardens. He was always busy and loved staying active. Dick was employed as a lineman with Cincinnati Gas and Electric, where he dedicated many years of service. He is survived by his loving wife Margaret Loew of Lawrenceburg; three daughters, Tracy (Mark) Murphy of Cincinnati, Shari Moreloc of Cincinnati, and Dawn (Rodney Keyes) Radford of Nashville, Tenn.; one brother, Robert (Carol) Loew of Cincinnati; two grandchildren, Zachary (Kelsey) Murphy and Kaitlynn Murphy; two great-grandchildren, Carsen Murphy and Miles Murphy; and numerous other family members and friends. In addition to his parents, Dick was preceded in death by his beloved grandson, Jacob Murphy. Family and friends will be received on Saturday, January 17, 2026, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 570 Sheldon Street, Greendale, IN 47025. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. with Pastor Steve Flynn officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Dearborn County Veteran Services or American Cancer Society.
