Aldeen Duffy Obituary
Aldeen "Eldean" Morris Duffy, of Litchfield, passed away peacefully on February 24, 2026.
Born in Eagle Lake in Portage, Maine, on April 16, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Pauline Jalbert.
Eldean was grateful for her long life filled with the love of family and friends. She loved to sing, play the guitar and enjoyed teaching Bible and Sunday School. She loved to visit with her grandchildren.
Eldean is survived by her children, Stephen Komar and wife, Kathleen, Kelly Cohen and husband, Frank, Sheryl Gatison and husband Richard, Greg Komar, Kevin Komar and wife, Erin; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Philip Duffy; son, Richard Komar; brother, Ernest Jalbert and wife, Kathy; sister, Jacqueline Leja and husband, Raymond.
Friends are invited to attend calling hours from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at Thurston Rowe Funeral Home, 283 Torrington Road, Litchfield with a funeral service to follow at 12 p.m. at the First Congregation Church, 21 Torrington Road, Litchfield. Burial will be in the spring.
