Cynthia Henry Obituary

Cynthia Ann Henry
It is with profound sadness that the family of Cynthia Ann Henry, age 88, of Oakville, share the news of her peaceful passing on Thursday, August 28, 2025.
Ms. Henry was born in Waterbury on December 13, 1936, the daughter of the late Maurice and Helen (Mitrulevich). Cynthia was a lifelong resident of Oakville, was educated in the local school system, and spent her working career in the banking industry. Cynthia enjoyed the arts and attended many plays at both the Thomaston Opera House and the Clockworks Theater, now The Phoenix. She also had quite a collection of DVD movies. She was a parishioner of St. Mary Magdalen Church in Oakville.
As we reflect on Cynthia's life, we remember a woman who valued love, laughter, and family above all else. She leaves behind a legacy of dedication and warmth that will resonate within the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know and love her. May she rest in peace in the Lord's loving embrace.
Left to honor Cynthia's legacy and cherish her memory are her cousins: Carol Keane of Oakville and her husband Ken, and Raymond Mitrulevich of HI; and her Godson, Michael Keane and his wife Jennifer of Wolcott. A very special thank you to everyone at the Village at East Farms for the heartwarming care, compassion, and love they all shared with Cynthia during her stay there.
Funeral services for Ms. Henry will be held privately at the convenience of her family.
