Eileen M. Phipps, 81, of Naugatuck, passed away at her home in Naugatuck on Saturday, November 15, 2025.
Eileen was born in Jacksonville, FL, on February 12, 1944, a daughter of the late George A. and Helyn (Thompson) Phipps, entered the world with her dear late twin sister, Arleen J. Onofreo.
Over the years, Eileen worked at Mattatuck Animal Hospital and as a bookkeeper at LoRusso Construction. Her life-long love and devotion to her dogs and cats over the years never wavered. Her current pets, Harper, Quinn and Winslow will miss her very much.
When younger, Eileen enjoyed tooling around in her yellow "M.G." We hope she will find many more happy roads on her journey. We love you Eileen.
She leaves behind her half brother, Gary Redente of Arizona, Michael Onofreo and his wife Dawn of Naugatuck, her beloved cousins and cherished friends.
Arrangements: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 21, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 318 Church Street, Naugatuck. There will be no calling hours. Burial will be held privately per Eileen's wishes. Chase Parkway Memorial, The Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury has been entrusted with handling Eileen's funeral arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Eileen's memory to an Animal Organization of your choice.
