Gail P. Salcito, 77, of Londonderry, NH, passed away, Thursday, April 24, 2025, at Hanover Hill Healthcare Center in Manchester, NH, following a lengthy illness. She was born on June 9, 1947, in Waterbury, CT, the daughter of the late Robert and Laura (Clark) Reynolds. She lived in Londonderry, NH, with her husband, Richard, for the past 45 years, after moving from Waterbury in 1980. Gail worked as a registered nurse for many years, starting her nursing career at St. Mary's Hospital in CT and later for Derry Medical Center in Derry, NH. She was an avid gardener and proud member of the Windham Garden Club.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 57 years, Richard Salcito; her daughter, Kristen; her sons, Richard S. and Jeffrey Salcito; her grandchildren, Nicholas and Anthony Salcito, and Nolan and Gabriella Farren.
She touched the lives of so many people and will be forever remembered for her kind heart and loving spirit.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, April 30th, from 6 – 8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, May 1st, at 10:00am in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 26 Crystal Avenue, Derry. The burial will follow in Pillsbury Cemetery, Hovey Rd., Londonderry. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph's Lakota Indian School, or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
