Herbert was well-known throughout Connecticut, where he sold commercial trucks to companies, cities, and towns. His honest, outgoing, and engaging style will be what his customers and colleagues remember.
His faith in Jesus Christ was important to him and he was an active member at Christ the Shepherd Presbyterian Church in Danbury, Connecticut.
Besides his work in sales, he enjoyed working outdoors, reading history, and participating in WWII reenactments.
Herbert is survived by his wife, son, daughter, 7 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.
