James Sedgwick Obituary
James W Sedgwick, 75, formerly of Harwinton, died May 20, 2025 at Valerie Manor. He was the husband of the late Karin Peterson Sedgwick. Born in Torrington, July 22, 1949, son of the late Allyn and Jane Smith Sedgwick, he grew up in New Hartford and was employed by Morrow Cadillac and later Capuano GMC and had worked for Torin Corp. and Nodine's Smokehouse. An avid saltwater fisherman, he also enjoyed golfing.
He is survived by his son William Sedgwick and wife Jennifer, and their son Steven, daughter Penny Sedgwick and children Nathaniel, Alexander and Mary. Brothers Allyn(Chip) and Robert Sedgwick, and several step brothers and sisters. In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by a brother, Thomas.

I first meet James Sedgewick aka Sedge at Gibbons Morrow in the early Seventys . We had many wonderful times on the golf course and theX-mas holidays. Rest in peace my friend until we meet again
