My condolences to John's family. He was always a calming influence in the State's Attorney's Office. His nick name was Father John because he was so easy to speak with.

My condolences to the Mahoney family. I worked with John in the Danbury State's Attorney's Office. John was one of the nicest people I knew. Even in the criminal justice system, he could always see the positive in people. He spoke of his family often. As a young parent I always valued his advice. He will be missed.

I had the honor and privilege to know John and his family back to his grandparents, former Chief of Police J Howard M'Goldrick and Esther M'Goldrick. All just wonderful and honorable individuals. I would often enjoy lunch with John during which he would speak of his son Jack and how proud he was of him. He was a true and impeccably dedicated professional. Rest in Peace John.

My condolences to Betty, Jack and John's family. I had the pleasure to know John professionally and as a friend for thirty plus years. John was a caring, sincere and loyal man. No one could tell story like John. His humor was incredible. He was loved and will be missed.
Deepest Sympathy,

Very sorry to hear of John's passing. I worked with John for many years when he was with the Danbury PD and the Danbury State's Attoneys office. John was a very dedicated professional who was always ready to help. He was devoted to his family and his faith, especially his son Jack who was light of his life. May he rest in peace.
