John Walsh Obituary
NAUGATUCK - It is with deep sadness that we announce that John (Jack) Walsh, age 75, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 29th, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
Jack was born in Waterbury, CT, July 7th, 1949, son of Evelyn Walsh Brown and the late William J. Walsh Sr. He was a graduate of Wolcott High School and attended Waterbury Technical College.
In addition to his mother, Evelyn, Jack is survived by his sons, Matthew (Traci Fournier), Michael (Christina Loughlin), his five grandchildren, Colin, Cameron, Jack, Kylie and Logan, sisters, Linda Donnelly, Peggy Walsh and her wife Nancy Traver, and Wendy Meagher and her husband Bill, nephews, Joseph Meagher and Robert Donnelly, niece, Jessica Meagher, and former wife Sandra Forino Walsh Beyer. He was predeceased by brother, William J. Walsh Jr., his beloved son, John J. Walsh, and his grandson, Joseph Walsh.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St Francis of Assisi Church, Saturday, April 5th, 2025, at 10:00 A.M. Friends are asked to meet directly at church. Burial with military honors will follow in Old Calvary Cemetery, Waterbury. Contributions: American Parkinson's Disease Association CT chapter at apdaparkinson.org . I woke up from sound sleep early this morning with thoughts to call and check in on you as it´s been a while. Jumped on the computer oddly out of the blue to google your name, I feel it was a visit from you saying hello knowing my call to you today would go unanswered. I know it will only a brief time until we meet again my friend.
When your mother and yourself left FLORIDA, I felt like I lost my best buddy but keeping in touch over the years was fulfilling enough for me, just like we did by your pool many ,many years ago. I know you are in a better place and hanging out with all who have gone ahead of us. Apart from the body , together with the Lord! Life is but a short breath.
May GOD be with and comfort your family during this time.
