Richard A. Perrone
Richard A. Perrone, 68, of Terryville, passed away at his home with his wife by his side, on Wednesday, December 3, 2025. He was born on April 27, 1957, in Waterbury to the late Stephen Dennis Jr. and Rosemarie (Cordero) Perrone.
Richard was both a marriage and family therapist both at UConn Health Center and in private practice and also an addictions counselor for the State of Connecticut.
He is survived by his loving wife Melissa (Chick) Perrone; his daughter Nicole Elizabeth Perrone and her husband Christian Curry and granddaughter Fiona Jillian Curry; his brother Dennis Stephen Perrone and his wife Debra; his nephew Nathan Perrone and his wife Sun-Mi, and their daughter Adele; his niece Lindsey Vollono and her husband Matt, and their children Sadie, Vincent, and Lucia; his sisters-in-law Carey Smith and Marianne Gatchell; his brother-in-law Ted Chick and his wife Elaine; and his extended nieces and nephews, Allison and Darren Thomas, Taylor, Emma and Hannah Chick and great-niece and nephew Colin and Lilli Thomas.
His family is planning a Celebration of Life after the holidays and he will be laid to rest at the family plot in Cornish, Maine at a later date.
