She was always ready to put on a pot of coffee.
After raising her family, she worked for the City of Waterbury School District as a secretary and later as a teacher's aide for students with special needs. She enjoyed cooking Italian foods and pastries, and writing poetry centered around her family life. Always positive, she devoted her life to her husband and family. One of her favorite words of advice was, "Do your best and leave the rest". In her retirement, she enjoyed going to the many events of her grandchildren.
