Anthony Bowe

1964 - 2017

Anthony "Tony" Francis Bowe passed away suddenly and unexpectedly of natural causes in his home in Loveland on March 28, 2017. He was born on November 6, 1964 and raised in Columbus NE, moving to Colorado in 1979. Tony was a graduate of Heritage High in Littleton and University of Colorado in Boulder. He was a Senior Underwriter at Cornerstone Lending in Ft. Collins. Tony was an Eagle Scout and spent much of his time as a Scout Leader developing boys into young men. Everyone who met Tony soon found out of his passion for the Nebraska Cornhusker Football team. A season ticket holder for many years, he rarely, if ever, missed a home game in Lincoln, NE. Tony was preceded in death by his mother Margaret Ann Bowe. He is survived by two sons Kevin and Sean Bowe of Loveland; father Robert (Bob) Bowe of Thornton, CO; sister Catherine (Cathy) Bowe of Denver, CO; brother Robert Bowe, Jr. of Phoenix, AZ; and fiancée Kirsten Rittenhouse of Broomfield, CO. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Loveland. Visitation will be held from 4-7:00 p.m., Monday at Kibbey-Fishburn Funeral Home. Interment will be in Lakeside Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John's Catholic School Music Department in care of Kibbey-Fishburn Funeral Home.
