Cecil J. Teague

Decatur

Cecil J. Teague, 87, of Decatur passed away January 7, 2012. He is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Alexander Teague; and his three children, Patti Youngbeck, Jan Brown and Jeff Teague.

Mr. Teague was born in Opelika and was a graduate of Auburn University. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and worked in Decatur over 30 years as an insurance adjuster. He was active in Gideons International and taught Sunday school for many years at Central Baptist Church in Decatur.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, January 11, 2012, at 1 p.m. at Roselawn Cemetery in Decatur. Local arrangements by Shelton Funeral Home.
