David (Dave) Carr, 62, of Loveland passed away unexpectedly at his home on November 11, 2021. He was born December 12, 1958 in Sarnia, Ontario Canada to Doug and Doreen Carr. In 1984 he met the love of his life Arlinda (Lynn) Gorter. They married on October 5, 1985. They built a life together as Dave built a successful business, D&D Drywall. Dave was a hard working husband and father. He understood family was the highest priority and invested his time and his love in his family. Dave was an amazing, fun loving husband and father. He was also a "Papa" extraordinaire to his grandchildren who adored him. He is survived by his wife Lynn, children James, Michael (Caity), Lindsey; grandchildren Cody, Madisyn, Jaxon, Baylee and Nolan; siblings; Bruce, Penny, Barb, Laurie (Todd), Dan (Nicole), Stuart (Stephanie) and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Doug and Doreen, and two brothers Jeffery and James Carr. Memorial Services will be at Viegut Funeral Home on Saturday November 20th at 10:30am. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations go to Loveland Meals on Wheels.
