Thomas Marshall Obituary

Thomas Henry Marshall, age 21, of Loveland, Colorado is riding his Heavenly Harley and is fishing with his Grandpa. He passed through this world to eternal freedom as a result of a motorcycle accident on his way to Sturgis, South Dakota on Monday, August 6, 2012. He was born on "August the 19th of the 1990" (As he always said it) to Lanny "Doc" & Frog Marshall in Loveland, Colorado. Tom attended school at Carrie Martin, Bill Reed Middle School, Thompson Valley High School and graduated from Ferguson High School in May of 2008. He achieved his Eagle Scout by redisplaying the service uniforms at the Associated Veterans Club in Loveland, which included his Grandpa Harold Cowan's uniform. Tom loved riding the Harley he bought last year and took a trip to Florida from November 2011 to June 2012. He didn't like the "Cold Colorado Weather". He called his dad whenever he had a problem with his bike and Doc would diagnose and tell him exactly how to fix it over the phone. He caught an alligator while fishing. He found some great people while traveling and they helped him to find work and make enough money to rebuild his engine and come home. His first job was painting a church with his new found friend Christopher. He then went on to remodeling houses, building ponds and landscaping. He also helped his brother Jim with a sprinkler installation job when he came back. His last project was helping his grandma repair and remodel her rental house and was going to move into it with his brother, Jim. Tom played the fiddle at his Uncle Ed's motorcycle show and swap meets and recently bought a mandolin. He said he went to Ft. Collins the other night and played it on the street. People tossed $95.00 in his case and that's what he had to go to South Dakota with. He packed his Harley and with his best girlfriend Sierra "Gypsy" Barrett they started out. Gypsy is doing ok, and we will be strong for her. He is survived by his parents, Lanny "Doc" and Frog Marshall, brother, James "Jimbo" Marshall (Vanessa Quinones and son Nickolas), Grandmother Juanita Cowan, Uncles and Aunts, Barry Marshall, Jerry "Jake" Honebein (Gail McKinney) Ed Honebein (Cindy), Bill Honebein (Donna) and Bob Honebein, many cousins and his best friends, Sierra "Gypsy" Barrett, the Campion Bros., Brandon & Brent Sandahl, Codey Adams, Andrew Limbeck, and Toby Lara. He is also survived by many, many more friends. He is reuniting with his grandpas, Willis Honebein, Harold Cowan, Walter Marshall and grandmas, Bobby Jo and Mildred Marshall. A memorial party will be on Sunday, August 19, 2012 from 1 p.m. to 11 p.m. at Herb's place. Take Hwy 34 west 2.5 miles past K-Mart, turn left on Rossum Drive, party will be on the right.
