Beth Smith, 55, of Eula passed away Sunday, November 26, 2017 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM, Thursday, November 30, 2017, at the Bailey Howard Funeral Home Chapel in Clyde with Chaplain Kathi Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in Eula Cemetery.
Beth was born August 7, 1962 in Springfield, Ohio to Ephriam and Frances (Stone) Johnson. She graduated from Cornado High School in El Paso and later married Ken Smith in El Paso on December 26, 1981. They moved to the Abilene area in 2006. Beth was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Ken Smith; her mother, Frances Juanita Johnson of Scottsdale, Arizona; mother-in-law, Lois Smith of Abilene; two sons, Justin Wayne Smith and wife Andie of Abilene and Jesse Ross Smith of Abilene; brother, Jeff Johnson of Phoenix, Arizona; two sisters, Tamara Bowman of Tucson, Arizona and Marsha Johnson of Buckeye, Arizona and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Beth was preceded in death by her father, Ephriam Herschel Johnson and her father-in-law, Roger Smith.

I met Beth at an estate sale. It was crazy cause we both had breast cancer. She told me we were warriors. I will also continue to fight my battle. I was never well enough to go see her but she always made sure to show up with my mediport placement and my first dose of chemo. I love and miss you my friend! She even made time to come see me in the hospital when chemo nearly killed me. Will miss you my friend!!!!!
