Don passed away on September 17th, 2018. He was born November 5, 1938, to J.T. and Gwen Chaney. Don grew up in a loving home with his parents, and three little sisters. He attended Abilene High School, until he joined the United States Marine Corps, in 1956, serving during the Cuban Conflict. Don loved people, and could usually be found at the local coffee shop, at a little league baseball field, or wherever old or new friends could be found. Don loved his family, and during the last few weeks of his life, he enjoyed reminiscing fun times throughout his life with friends and family.
